Shawn takes the uncommon approach with her clients of shepherding them through the process of purchasing or selling a home from start to finish, and helping them navigate the relationships with the buyer or seller, their real estate agent, escrow, trust, lending institution, appraisal and inspection.
She is experienced enough that she knows what to do when odd requests arise and is savvy enough to know when to negotiate on different items.
She will literally hold your hand through the entire process and always protect your best interests, even when certain issues (say, with the lender) have no effect whatsoever on her pay and fall outside of her official responsibilities.
She is an invaluable partner in navigating a system that is, at best, archaic and perhaps most important of all manages the (constantly stalling) communication between several large, bureaucratic institutions that do not particularly care about your transaction, even though they are making money on it - for instance, the bank, the inspector, etc.
It is a process that can leave you feeling jaded, but you definitely also end up feeling very taken care of, and that you go the very best possible price.
